The weather over Scotland up to Iceland was rather poor. We refueled in the north of Scotland before flying over the North Sea. We had to fly a "holding" over Stornoway. We came from 30 degrees and then landed at just under 10 degrees....quickly unpack the jackets :-)
After the quick refueling, we flew straight on to Iceland. The North Sea crossing was without any problems. With a single-engine airplane one listens somewhat more exactly to the engine noises and has the survival suits handy :-)
